Hello lovelies, well it's me today NICOLA with a card to show you all.
I have used a gorgeous image by Morgan Fitzsimons which is called 'Fairy Dust'. I absolutely love this digi, I love butterflies and fairies so as soon as I got chance to use this gorgeous image I jumped at it! To buy the image just click HERE and while you are there why don't you check out all the other gorgeous digis available too such a wonderful COLLECTION to browse through. Just click the link to hop over to the shop and there's lots of other gorgeous craft goodies to see while your visiting!
Anyhoo, onto my card. Now I just love the vintage look, and love creams and browns, but I also love a splash of turquoise and blue colours with it too, mixed with a little sprinkling of ambers and oranges! So, these are the colours I have used to make my creation....I hope you like it...
I have coloured the image using Letraset Promarker Pens in shades:
Skin: Almond ~ Putty ~ Sunkissed Pink ~ Dusky Pink
Hair: Sandstone ~ Caramel ~ Cinnamon
Rest of the Image: Sandstone ~ Caramel ~ Cinnamon ~ Burnt Orange ~ Terracotta ~ Oatmeal ~ Tea Green ~ Grey Green ~ Soft Green ~ Mint Green ~ Cool Aqua ~ Duck Egg ~ Turquoise ~ Marine ~ Warm Grey 1
I have also been experimenting with my lovely new Silhouette Cameo that my lovely husband bought me for Christmas. I have used a lace floral background and then a fancy circle to centre the image onto. I love the Cameo, so many designs to cut out!
The lace is some vintage lace that I bought a while ago, I've also embellished with some velvet ribbon. I love velvet it always feels so luxurious. To finish I have added some flowers, a bit of bling and a pendant from a necklace I had.
I am entering this creation into the following challenges....
Thanks for stopping by today I look forward to your next visit!
Have fun and happy crafting
lots of love
