My DT card for Emergency Crafters......

Hello lovelies,

I hope you are looking forward to a lovely week-end. As it's Friday that can only mean one thing, another challenge over at

The theme this week is

'Dreamland'

We want to see fairies, unicorns, toadstools, whatever is your crafty dreamland. I have used an Angel for mine.

My 'Dreamland' hits a personal note for me today, as it would have been my Beautiful Dad's birthday! I feel like I have made my card for my Dad, and in my dream I see an Angel looking after him, the flowers represent the flowers my Dad used to tend to in his job as a gardener. I know he will be up there somewhere tending to Heaven's Garden!

The stamp is from Inkdinkado and it's Angels, I have used a Martha Stewart punch around the page too!

I could'nt let my Dad's day pass by without me saying...

'Happy Birthday my Beautiful Daddy, I miss you everyday and I am sure you will hear me somewhere up there'.

I would love to see your entries for this theme, as you can see, mine has come from the heart!

Have fun and happy crafting,
lots of love

Happy 3rd Birthday

Hello lovelies and a very warm welcome to Polkadoodles Birthday Celebration!

So we have a fantastic challenge, and chances to win over £220 worth of blog candy!

Make sure you come and join us at our special party to be in with a chance to get some wonderful candy! Wooooo Hoooooooo now that's what I call a fantastic celebration!

To find out what you have to do to help celebrate make sure you hop over to the

to see what you need to do to be in with a chance of winning!

To help celebrate the birthday I have made a Birthday Card....

Ingredients I have used...

Spellbinder's Grand Nestabilities Grand Big Scalloped Circles
Cream Cotton Lace
Distress Ink Vintage Photo
Silver beads, made with love charm and pins.

How I made it...

I used the grand nesties to make my card blank, making an easel card. I decided on three papers, as it's the 3rd birthday I wanted to use three of each item. So I have used three papers, lace, flower, beads and pins. I inked all the edges with the distress ink. I cut the smaller scalloped circle in half, scrunched both halves up and then concertina folded them both to give some added texture to the base of the easel and the main image. I finished by adding a greeting to the base and the main card!

I hope you like this Special Birthday card.....
it's an exciting occasion and I'm proud to be on the Polkadoodles Design Team...(it's my dream come true) and be able to help them celebrate their 3rd Birthday!

Happy 3rd Birthday from me to everyone at Polkadoodles....wooooo hooooooo!

Have fun and happy crafting,
lots of love

Boofle Cards.....

Hello my lovelies,

a very happy Sunday from me, I hope you have all had a lovely week-end so far!
I just thought I would show you a few Boofle cards that I made the other day, this is the first chance that I've had to show you.

I have made these using Boofle goodies that I bought a while ago. I have just recently bought the Boofle Do Crafts Digital Designer CD, when I have finished making my cards using this I will show you those.

So here we are, I hope you like them......I took them to work the other day and they have sold already! Boofle is a little cutie and a very popular character.

Thanks for looking at my cards, I hope you like them. Enjoy the rest of the week-end!

My DT card for Polkadoodles.....

Hello lovelies,

It's that exciting time of the week where we have another fabulous challenge over at the

the theme this week is

De-Stress.....

so we want to see distressing on your cards this week! Tear away, sand, rip, ink and de-stress away...lol....I love this theme!

I have used the Polkadoodles Sugarplum Daisy CD for my card and coloured the digi stamp using Faber-Castell Polychromo pencils in shades: Rose Carmine/Burnt Ochre/Raw Umber/Walnut Brown/Warm Grey 2/Mauve/Light Ultramarine/Cadmium Yellow/Light Yellow/Earth Green Yellowish and blended with Daler Rowney low odour thinners and paper stumps. I tore the edges of the digi and inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I cut a piece of textured cardstock to size, embossed in a folder, sanded and inked, fixed lace behind the edges and attached to the card.
The sentiment I scrunched and inked. I have used my Marianne Design Creatable LR0118 die to die cut three flourishes, and inked them. I used gauze and lace and embellished with flowers, beads and feathers.

I absolutely loved making this card. Distressing and vintage themes are a favourite of mine. I would love love love to see your creations for this fabulous challenge.
Hop over to the

and see what the rest of the design team have made.

I'm looking forward to seeing your entries!
