Pink Pick of the Month - Kanban DT Post...

Hello lovelies!

It's time over on the 

Kanban Blog 

for my

'Pink Pick of the Month'.

I have been working recently with the gorgeous 

Denim and Lace Papercraft Kit 

If you saw the show recently on Create and Craft TV you will have seen this kit.

It truly is gorgeous to work with, the quality is excellent. I love the design, and colour's in this kit. There are many elements to this kit including florals, owls and denim pockets. Of course owls are always a popular option.

The kit I think is great too for any age group. You can make projects that take more time, or if time is short you can whip up fast cards in no time at all. This is brilliant if you sell your cards, a fast, quick and economical way to re-stock with your beautiful creations.

My 'Pink Pick' this month is a card I made using some gorgeous florals from the kit...

I also love the lace printed effect on the background, it is beautiful.  The florals look so pretty.

I have an extra 'Pink Pick' for this month too, just so I could show you more elements of the gorgeous

Denim and Lace Collection 

I have used the denim pockets on this card...

The detail on the pocket is lovely and I couldn't resist adding some bling.

I hope you like this kit, it has been very popular.

A 30th birthday card for my lovely friend...

Hello lovelies!

I have a birthday card to show you that I made for my lovely friend.

It was her 30th birthday last week. 

A girl after my own heart her favourite colour is pink! 

Well, how could I resist using this on her card. I teamed it with black, the Kanban Bella Italiano collection and some sparkle...here is what I came up with...

I used the Joanna Sheen dies Lace Edger 1 and Butterfly Flourish.

I added some gorgeous ribbon that I bought from a lovely little shop at Barnard Castle.

The flowers and spiral are from Wild Orchid Crafts. 

I discreetly put 30 in the corner.

I think this card was just perfect for my friend.

KANBAN CRAFTS CHALLENGE

 

IS NOW OFFICIALLY OPEN!

I am so excited that you could join us today. The Kanban Crafts Challenge is a monthly challenge with the new one starting on the 4th of every month.

 

Each month a different theme will be set and to enter the challenge you must make a project set to the theme and also you MUST use KANBAN products as your main focus of the project.

 

When you have made your creation you can visit the challenge blog and upload your picture or if you do not have a blog visit the WE LOVE KANBAN GROUP on Facebook where an album especially for the challenge has been set up. You can add your project in that and it will then be added to the challenge for you.

 

Now, the really exciting part of it too is you could be in with a chance of winning some gorgeous Kanban Goodies, so make sure you enter the challenge to be in with a chance of winning!

 

The winner of the challenge will be announced in the new challenge post every month. Myself and the rest of the Kanban Design Team are so excited about this new venture with the challenge blog. I would love you all to follow, enter, and tell all your crafty friends too!

I made an easel card and used the Distress Ink around the edges and along the base. I drew a border around the scalloped edges using the Zig pen, sprinkled with embossing powder. I then used my heat gun to melt the powder.

 

I added the card and toppers as shown and embellished with the lace, flowers, button and pearls.

 

I love the Vintage look, I've got to say it's one of my favourite crafty themes.

For my first project this week I have made a Baby card. I love the colours for the card I made because they are very neutral which is ideal if you need to make it early.

I am determined not to waste anything from my Kanban stash, so the banners were made from the frame that holds the toppers in place, and the bunting at the top was made with the triangle bits I cut from the banner. I just finished with twine.

My second project this week is a wall hanging, which is now hanging in my craft room. I have used the gorgeous new 'Walk With Me' collection. As soon as I saw the gorgeous scenery toppers I just knew I wanted to make a picture. Out came my watercolour paints and card. I have made my own background using the paints to mount the topper onto this.

My Kanban Design Team Projects....

Hello lovelies,

 

Wow where do the week's go? Time flies past. Another Saturday which means it's another post from me to share my KANBAN  Design Team Creations.

 

I am sure that most of you KANBAN fans will have ordered the fabulous Pick of the Day or the Blockbuster that was demonstrated on Create & Craft TV last week. I ordered mine and I absolutely love it. I just knew I wanted to use the Blockbuster for this week's design team makes.

 

My first project is a Twisted Easel card, now one of my client's commissioned me to make a Silver Wedding Anniversary card for her son. I was asked to personalise it by adding their names. I have used the Blockbuster Love & Marriage collection, using the Silver Wedding elements from this kit. The elements I have used are from the following .....

My final project for this week is a Baby Girl card. Now I am a girly girl, so when I saw this I could not resist using pink lol. I have used the Birth & Celebrations kit and the

I have used ruched ribbon to embellish around the edges.....
