Christmas Card for my Husband - entering into the Joanna Sheen Challenge

Hello my lovelies, this is the Christmas card I have just made tonight for my lovely husband. I am also entering it into the Joanna Sheen challenge

Christmas Card

I have made the card blank using Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Labels Eleven.
I matted and layered using the various sizes in the set. The decorative paper is Forever Friends Retro Collection A Christmas Tale. The stamped image is from Tatty Button Tattys Christmas Tree which I have coloured with whispers pens and sakura pens. I have embellished with hat pins, stick pins, ribbon and greetings.

Thanks for looking, I hope you like it,

Tatty Button 12 Days of Christmas lol........

I have made 12 Tatty Button Christmas cards today from the Tatty Button Christmas Cd rom. I have called them 12 Days of Christmas as I have done each one a different way. I have done this so you can see how versatile cd crafting really can be. The possibilities are endless, and with just a few embellishments, greetings and glitter glue the finished look is lovely.
Hope you enjoy looking at these cards

Tatty Button Christmas Cards

Happy Tuesday everyone, hope you are having a good week so far! I have just made a couple of Tatty Button Christmas cards using the 'A Tatty Christmas To You' stamp, which I have coloured with polychromo pencils. You will have noticed my last few projects have been coloured using these pencils but I've got to say I just love them.

The backing papers are from the Tatty Button's Christmas Cd Rom which I have printed off.

I cut out the oval using a shape cutter system. I just knew I had to use this fab ribbon with the love hearts. I have used double sided tape on the reverse of the oval and just overlayed each section of ribbon.
I love using Tatty Button on my cards, the image is so cute and if you get the cd there are loads of options for you to choose making it really good value for money!

I again cut the ovals using a shape cutter system. The images are great when printed out and I think the stamps just co-ordinate beautifully. With this version of the same stamps used above, I have embellished the white of the coat using Diamond Stickles.

Hope you like these cards, there will be more to follow soon. I have had a good printing out session so I am looking forward to making the cards with the images I've printed off.

Happy crafting and have fun,
love NJ XXXX

Tatty Button Card

I used an 8x8 kraft card blank. I cut a piece away on the front of the blank so that you would see the inside. I used my oval x cut shape system to round the edges.Inked edges using promarkers. I then used Papermania textured card stock and rounded the corner in the same way. I cut a piece of kraft grid card to size and put it through my texture boutique using the Me To You primrose embossing folder. I inked lightly using memento desert sand to emphasise the flowers. Matted and layered onto each other. I added cream raffia and tied knots onto the length. I stuck a piece of decorative paper from the first edition summer breeze collection paper pad inside the blank. Stamped Tatty Button Sunflower onto cream card and coloured using promarkers. Stamped the image onto white card and cut out, using this as a mask I then stamped the Tatty Button Fence and coloured in. I cut to size, rounded the corners using a chomper and inked the edges. Matted and layered with textured card and kraft card. Stamped the text, then matted and layered and used 2 foam pads stuck on top of one another to make it sit higher than the image. Embellished using Candi and a heart shaped button.
Promarker colours used:
Bright orange/Magenta/Sky blue/Pastel green/Pastel Beige/Pastel blue/Honeycomb/Burnt orange/Oatmeal/Tan/Pastel pink/Ruby/Yellow/Soft green/Lime green/Forest green/Grass/Blender.
Candi used:
Coffee bean
Ink pads used:
Memento - Tuxedo black/Desert Sand.
The card took about 2 hours to make.
