VISIBLE IMAGE - MAY CHALLENGE....

Hello lovelies!

Wow, the month's are flying by. The 1st of May already, which hopefully means lots of nice sunshine and lots of lovely bright colours around too!

It is also time for the VISIBLE IMAGE MAY CHALLENGE too which is a really lovely theme ...

'Brighten Your Day'...

I loved working to this theme. I always love bright colour's they make me feel happy and cheery seeing all the bright colour's around. I just had to use my favourite colour for this theme..and of course that means 'PINK'.

Before I show you my card don't forget you could be in for a chance of winning £10 to spend on VISIBLE IMAGE STAMPS if you are randomly selected as the winner of the challenge. Also I would like to remind you all that you MUST USE an actual stamp and NOT a digital stamp!

Visible Image Blog Badge, Blinkie

I have made a card to 'Brighten Your Day'...

The VISIBLE IMAGE STAMPS I have used to make my card are...

You can buy these stamps over at the VISIBLE IMAGE website or to be taken  directly to the stamps I have used click on the link's above!

The other materials you need to make this card are...

A4 White textured cardstock to make your A5 card blank ~ Floral paper ~ Pink Card ~ White Card to stamp on ~ Distress Ink Fired Brick ~ Memento Ink Tuxedo Black ~ Spectrum Noirs in shades: BP3, BP5, BP7, PP6, GB6, GB7, FS2, FS6, CG3 ~ Double-sided tape ~  3d foam pads ~ Corner Rounder ~ Silicon Glue ~ Decorative Corner Punch ~ Self-adhesive Pearls & Gems ~ Flower's & Ribbon Bows.

To make...

~ Score your A4 textured card stock in half to create your A5 card blank.
~ Cut a panel of floral paper and stick to the centre of the card as shown using double sided tape.
~ Trim a piece of pink card so it overlaps the floral paper.
~ Colour a panel of white card using the pink Spectrum Noir pens listed above and then using the Fired Brick Distress Ink stamp the ZEBRA BACKGROUND . Attach this over the pink card, leaving a narrow border.
~ Stamp KATIE onto white card using the Tuxedo Black ink and colour with your pens. I wanted to do something slightly different, so instead of colouring the outline with the 'usual' grey I chose to do it in green for a change. Trim and then use your decorative punch on the corners, fix to a panel of pink card and then round the corners of this. Use foam pads to attach to the Zebra background.
~ Stamp the 'Get Well Soon' from one of the MORE THAN WORDS collections onto a piece of the pink Zebra background and attach with foam pads.
~ To finish, add your flowers, ribbon bows, pearls and gems as shown.

I love the colours of this card, very bright and cheery. It is a perfect card if someone is feeling under the weather, it would really 'Brighten Your Day'.

Myself and the rest of the VISIBLE IMAGE DESIGN TEAM are really looking forward to seeing all your creation's, so get stamping!

I have coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir pens. I got the set bought for me for Christmas, I had wanted them for ages. I absolutely love using them. I do need to practice with them, I usually use Promarker's and Flexmarker's which I absolutely love, having used my Spectrums a few times I can honestly say I love these just as much too.

Here is the card I made...

The shades I have used are:

FS2 ~ FS3 ~  FS6 ~ IG1 ~ IG2 ~ IG4 ~  EB1 ~ CT1 ~ CT2 ~ CT4 ~ TB1 ~ TB2 ~ True Black

I wanted to keep the card simple so as to show off how beautiful the little Geisha girl is. I love this stamp set. I can't wait to colour the rest of them!

Thank you for stopping by today,
I look forward to your next visit.

Have fun and happy crafting,

I have made four cards using the same stamp and I have also combined it with papers and sentiments from my DREAMEES MEMBERSHIP CD If you haven't joined yet membership costs only £5.00 and you get 10% discount everytime you shop at Dreamees and also at shows. You also get a montly freebie. The CD I have used is my January CD as I am a member!

Here are the cards I have made.......Card 1

I couldn't resist adding this gorgeous rose which you can buy from Dreamees and you can find it HERE

I wanted to keep this card fairly simple. I have used the paper ribbon and bow from my membership cd and also the sentiment and flowers. I love buttons so added these too which you can buy HERE

Card 3

With this card I wanted to show a distressed feel. I inked the edges with Distress Ink Vintage photo. I wanted to add the DIE-CUT PICKET FENCE as it has little hearts at the top and I have coloured it with Spectrum Noirs. The ribbon and buttons are a set which you can find HERE

Card 4

I wanted to keep this card really simple. I have left the greeting off on purpose as I am going to put it in what I call my reserve stock of cards. This is my cards I keep for unexpected occasions so I could add a birthday greeting, congratulations, anniversary too. I love using LACE I have used the paper ribbon and bow from the membership CD and embellished with Stickles in Turquoise and a little pearl heart.
