Petal Lu #Challenge32

Hello lovelies!

It's challenge time again over at 


The theme this time is 

'Anything Goes'.

I've made a card for my design team project. I love pink so of course I really enjoyed making this card.


The stamp I've used is LOTV Blowing Bubbles.
I've stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I have coloured using Promarkers in the following shades...

Ice Greys 1, 3, 4, 5
Cool Grey 1
Antique Pink
Dusky Rose
Salmon Pink
Almond
Pale Pink
Rock Pool
Arctic Blue

Crafting Musketeers Challenge 43

Hello lovelies!

Well, it's a while since I posted for the CRAFTING MUSKETEERS challenge. I had a year out and the lovely girls on the design team welcomed me back this month. I'm really happy to be back and  working alongside a lovely team. 

So, the challenge theme this time is 

' Christmas Wishes'

I've used a lovely cute gingerbread image for my design team card


I've coloured using Letraset Promarkers in shades:

Cinnamon - Terracotta - Pastel Pink - Red - Mustard - Ruby

Flexmarkers: Cappucino - Blush

I've also used Sakura gelly roll pens Clear Star and Red Star.

The papers are First Edition Festive Treats 6 x 6 paper pad. The finishing touches are gingham ribbon, a cinnamon stick and red pearl gems.

Crafting Musketeers Midway Reminder....Shades of Summer

Steampunk With A Pretty Twist...

Hello lovelies!

I have made a card to enter into the challenge over at the 


The theme is

'Anything Goes or Layers'

I chose to make a card, with a lot of layers.

I used a gorgeous new stamp from 

That Craft Place  called Steampunk Betty.

I absolutely love this stamp set.

So, here's my Steampunk With A Pretty Twist...


I coloured her with Letraset Promarker's in shades...

Skin Tone: Putty, Oatmeal, Almond, Dusky Rose
Hair: Tan, Caramel, Sandstone, Cocoa, Burnt Sienna

A Pretty Ballerina...

Hello lovelies!

Well tonight I have been busy making a card especially to enter into a new challenge over at 


This is the first challenge for this lovely blog. I decided to use the digi from the blog called

Ballerina Betty

This little cutie was a freebie, so thank you for this lovely digi.

I love texture, so wanted to create lot's of it on my card.

I have coloured Betty using Promarker's. I have used paper from a pad called

My Mind's Eye Bohemia.

I have used jute, linen, cotton lace and satin crinkly ribbon. I added a few roses too and a stem of pearls. I've also used a sketch pen to add detail around the edge of the 8"x 8" card blank. 

All the edges have been inked using 

Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy.

I finished with scrabble tile greetings available from

That Craft Place.

A little bit of stamping...

Hello lovelies!

I have had a lovely time stamping and colouring a really cute image.

I have used a stamp from Lili of the Valley called


I love this stamp. 

Once I coloured the stamp with my Promarker's, I then made the image into a card. I wanted to create varied contrasting colour's and texture's.

Here is what I came up with...


The Promarker shades I have used are:

The Bear...
Putty, Tan, Caramel, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Burnt Sienna

The Daisy...
Antique Pink, Mulberry, Maroon, Plum, Apple, Bright Green

I have used a scalloped heart die and also a scalloped bunting die.

I added texture by using twine, cotton lace, cheesecloth, fabric, flower's and button's.

I love this cute stamp.

Love from Sugar....Anything Goes Challenge...

Hello lovelies!

I can't believe we are in February already. I have been busy working at the salon as usual, but in my spare time when I'm not walking my lovely Peggy I've been holed up in my craft room.

Today's creation I have to show you is a card I have made. I actually coloured this lovely image yesterday, and then made her into a card today!

I have just recently bought some gorgeous digis and sentiment's from


I absolutely love the gorgeous digis to choose from.

Let me introduce you to the gorgeous...

I love the scrabble tile effect sentiments too, which you can buy along with the digi's.

I have coloured Sugar using Letraset Promarker's in shades...

Hair: Duck Egg, Pastel Green, Grey Green, Tea Green, Cool Aqua
Face, Legs, Neck, Arms: Almond, Oatmeal, Tan, Blush, Sandstone
Top: Pale Pink, Cocktail Pink, Antique Pink, Dusky Rose
Shorts: Denim Blue, Cornflower, China Blue
Hearts: Carmine, Magenta
Eyes: Burnt Sienna, Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen
Outline: Soft Green, Blue Pearl
With Love Sentiment: Pastel Green, Grey Green, Duck Egg

I used an embossing folder to create a distressed background card. I love the little hearts.

I really enjoyed colouring 'Love from Sugar'.

Pink, Pink and more Pink....

Hello lovelies!

Pink, pink and more pink!

Yes, I absolutely love pink and as most of you know it is my favourite colour. That's why I also chose to have 'Pink' in the title of my blog.

So, the other day I was browsing around social media when I came across the new challenge over at the 


The theme this week is Colour Challenge - Pink.

Of course I just had to enter this.

I made a card using a Crafter's Companion Scruffy Little Cat stamp.
The name of the stamp is
'Nicola'....hehehe just like me!


I have coloured 'Nicola' using Letraset Promarker's in shades...

~ Skin: Almond, Putty, Oatmeal, Sunkissed Pink

~ Hair: Tan, Sandstone,Caramel, Cinnamon, Cocoa

~ Clothes, rollers, box: Antique Pink, Rose Pink, Cocktail Pink, Baby Pink, Salmon Pink, Pastel Pink, Dusky Pink, Cool Grey 1, Cool Grey 2

~ Diamonds: Cool Grey 1, Cool Grey2.

~ Outline: Cool Grey 3

The sparkly bits on the shoes, pearls, lashes, crown and diamonds are Sakura Gelly Roll Pens in
shades: Rose Star, Pink Star, Silver Star, Clear Star.

I used a heart stencil with Distress Ink Picked Raspberry to create the background.

A Little Cutie...

Hello lovelies!

Well I have to confess, time has run away with me over the last few weeks with one thing and another so I have been a little behind in my blogging. 

I have got a card to show you that I made the other day using one of my gorgeous Lili of The Valley stamps.
I love love love this one.

I wanted to make it look all cute and pretty!


I have coloured this with Letraset Promarkers in the following shades...

Ice Grey 1 ~ Ice Grey 2 ~ Ice Grey 3 ~ Ice Grey 5 ~ Cool Grey 2
Pastel Pink ~ Almond ~ Putty ~ Lavendar ~ Lilac ~ Orchid
Pastel Green ~ Soft Green ~ Grey Green 

The die I have used is the Cheery Lynn Doily Die. The edges have been inked using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Victorian Velvet.
The papers, flowers and brads are the Lillibet A Tale Of Friendship Collection.
The greeting is a Kanban die cut greeting.

I have another card to show you using another cutie Lili of The Valley Stamp. 


Again, I have coloured this using Letraset Promarkers in shades...

Tan ~ Caramel ~Raw Sienna ~ Cocoa ~ Cinnamon ~ Oatmeal
Cool Aqua ~ Duck Egg ~ Powder Blue ~ Denim Blue ~ Turquoise 

The papers are from the Lilliebet paper pad as before. I have a thing about eyelets at the moment after treating myself to the Provocraft Silent Setter. I love using this!

The die cut bunting is from LaLaLand Crafts.

I really enjoyed colouring these two images, its very relaxing having a colouring session.
