Studio 12 at Polkadoodles October Giveaway...

Hello lovelies,

Well it's the end of September which can only mean one thing! It is time for the October Giveaway over at

Click on the link above to hop over and find out about the giveaway and also to see some fab creations from the design team.

My project for this is a Christmas Card. I have made an easel card and printed off the gorgeous papers from the Picknix Collection 2 - Gingerbread Twist. I wanted to show off how beautiful these Poinsetta papers are, they are just too lovely to cover up. I just had to add lace and pins, I love these!

I think these colours go well together, just a twist on the Christmas Card!

Have fun and happy crafting,

Welcome To Pink Delight Craft...

Hello again my lovelies,

well what a busy night I have had playing around with my blog!

As I said earlier I accidentally deleted the background I had, but I have been thinking for a while about changing my blog look anyway, but never quite dared to do it! LOL

Anyway, after much browsing of the net and playing around I have decided on this kind of shabby vintage look.

I absolutely love distressed, vintagey things so I decided I wanted my blog to look like this for a change. Also I wanted to make it easier and clearer for you all to read, rather than such a dark background all the time.

I absolutely love this look, and I think there is enough pink for you all to still see it is

'Pink Delight Craft'

and as you all know,

Pink is my favourite colour.

Thank you for being patient this evening with my various posts, and I really do hope you will follow me and enjoy our crafty journey with lots of exciting times ahead.

Have fun,
happy crafting,
lots of love

Hello lovelies....testing my blog.....

Hello lovelies,

Well after accidentally deleting my blog background earlier, I am just playing around with this at the moment.

I have decided to change it slightly, I think it might have been a happy accident!

I want everyone to be able to read my blog easily, so I have changed the background colour and the text and so on, so hopefully it is looking ok.

I may add a few more changes along the way lol...

Hope your liking what you see...

Worried....

Hello my lovelies,

for some reason I since yesterday a white box flashes up on my blog and it says

403 Forbidden

This File removed due to violation fo ImageShack Terms of Service by User Request.

I have absolutely no idea what this is about. All I can think of is I did a blog candy post and used the relevant button link to the site it was for.

I have now removed this, but the white box is still appearing,

All I want to say is, whoever made the white box appear on my blog, I apologise if I have done something wrong. I don't know what it is, but I will apologise anyway, and now I am worried, as I want this box to go away and not sure why it won't.

As far as I know, I havent done anything wrong, so I dont know why this keeps showing, and I have never heard of the above mentioned.

Has anyone else had this before,

thanks for reading,

Docrafts Creativity Club Sketch....

Hello lovelies,

I hope you are all well.

I thought I would show you another card I have made using one of the Creativity Club Daily Sketches, which is available to download if you are a member of the

If you are'nt a member yet, just click on the link above to see where you can join. You get fabulous discounts in the online store, special offers, daily sketch downloads, Creativity TV and much, much more. Excellent value membership!

Anyhoo, for my card this time I wanted to show you how you can use a daily sketch with the Docrafts Digital Designer Collections.

I have used Daily Sketch 51 Designed by Katy Godbeer and for my papers and embellishments I have used the Docrafts at Christmas Time Digital Designer.

Products used...

Docrafts Creativity Club Daily Sketch 51 ~ Docrafts Papermania at Christmas Time Digital Designer ~ 8x8 Papermania Kraft card blank ~ Docrafts X-Cut Nesting Dies Scalloped Squares ~ Papermania self-adhesive silver dew drops ~ Gold Glitter Glue ~ Clear Glitter Glue ~ 3D foam pads

How to make...

1. Decide which paper you would like to use and print off 1 sheet. Trim to size leaving a border of the kraft card showing.
2. Print off a co-ordinating sheet of holly paper and using a small scalloped square, die- cut four squares.  Attach these as shown with foam pads.
3. Add dots of gold glitter glue along the centre, inbetween the four squares.
4. Select a flower of your choice from the Papermania at Christmas Time, resize the flower to fairly small, copy this 15 times, print out and cut the flowers out.
5. Use a foam pad to attach each flower to the card as shown and embellish the centres with dew drops.
6. Finally print a greeting, trim to size so it fits on the first square, decorate with glitter glue.

I think this card shows off the sketch that I chose really well. I like the flowers, it's just a different twist on the traditional Christmas Card, but in keeping with traditional colours!

I hope you have enjoyed your visit, thank you so much for stopping by!

Smashing Christmas ........

Hello lovelies, it's me again lol with something that I have been so excited to show you all! I have used the new Studio 12 Gingerbread Twist CD Picknix Collection for my project. This project was my post on the Studio 12 at Polkadoodles Blog from Tuesday.

I decided to make something different, now as you probably already know Smash books are popular at the moment. I wanted to create my own version from scratch and make it a Christmas Theme using lots of the elements from the cd and also adding my own twists like punched Christmas trees, netting, sewing and various other elements I have added which you will see as you scroll through my pictures. I got my sewing machine out again to add some stitching to the back and front covers, this is becoming a regular occurance with my machine!

What have I used for my Smash book you might ask...10 C5 envelopes, sealed them, then guillotined a piece off each edge, covered them with decorative paper and stuck them together with double sided tape, the open edges created the pockets for my lists that I have added. I bound the pages together like a book using my Bind It Machine.

So without further ado, let me introduce you to a..........................

I loved making this and I think this shows just how creative you can be with a few envelopes too!

Craft Room Clean Up......

Hello my lovelies...

here I am again lol, having no internet for the last two days has been a bit of a pain!

Last week-end I went away to stay at a lovely place called Tankersley Manor, which is in the dark peaks, just bordering the Peak District...so I was told, excuse me if I am wrong as my geography is'nt much good!LOL Anyhoo, myself and another lady from the party I was with decided we would go shopping to Meadow Hall, while there I found a gorgeous little shop selling beautiful jars, tins and lots of scrummy things. So I just had to buy three beautiful little jars for storing buttons and brads in, I've also put embossing powder in one. I then went in another shop and bought some gorgeous nesting boxes which I wanted to store my wooden stamps in and a wire basket that matched too. I also  bought some matching tins and a gorgeous wicker candle holder which I have actually put ribbons in!

Where is my little story leading you may ask? Well, on arriving home extremely shattered after a hectic two days I decided to clean my craft room...well.....let me just say I got half way through and thought 'why oh why did'nt I just sit down and relax with that bottle of vino' lol. Anyway, the good news is I finished the 'Craft Room Clean Up' on Monday afternoon and boy do I feel better for it. I could'nt stand the mess any longer and now I can actually see the carpet!LOL

If you compare these photos that I am about to show you with my other craft room photos, you may not think it looks any different...but it is lol I can actually see things I forgot I had!
So, without further ado here is my craft room that I spend lots of happy hours in creating away...I hope you enjoy looking round!

I hope you enjoyed browsing through my craft room!

I absolutely love it in here, as my husband said though...it won't stay that tidy! LOL

Have fun and happy crafting,

I have used some Papermania Capsule Collection flowers and buttons, finally finished with Papermania self adhesive dew drops.
