Crafting Musketeers Challenge Blog....My Design Team Card

Hello lovelies!
 
Well it is that time of the month where we have another fabulous challenge over at the
 
 
It is one of my favourite themes this month...
 
'Vintage'
 
As I am the sponsor too for this months challenge I just wanted to tell you a little about
 
'Pink Delight Craft'.
 
 I created my blog to share my love of crafting with everyone. I have always been creative my job as a hairstylist is creative. I have been crafting for around 8 years or so and absolutely love card making.
 How did I choose my blog name? Pink is my favourite colour and it is a Delight to Craft! I am delighted to be a part of the Crafting Musketeers Design Team and to also be the sponsor for this month's 'Vintage' Challenge.

Joanna Sheen Challenge....My Design Team Card...

Hello lovelies!
 
We have another fantastic challenge over at the
 
 
I love the theme for this particular challenge as it is using my favourite colour!

VISIBLE IMAGE - AUGUST CHALLENGE...MY DT POST...

Hello lovelies!

Welcome to the

VISIBLE IMAGE AUGUST CHALLENGE

We have a great theme again this month...

'ANYTHING GOES WITH A VISIBLE IMAGE STAMP '

PLEASE NOTE FOR THE CHALLENGE YOU MUST USE A VISIBLE IMAGE STAMP!

I have made my card using the gorgeous

CLARA
 
 
Other materials used to make my card...
 
~ Letraset Flexmarkers in shades: Skin: Antique White ~ Dusky Pink ~ Pale Pink ~ Pastel Pink
Hair: Linen ~ Sandstone ~ Nutmeg ~ Cappuccino
Eyes: Cloud Blue ~ Sea Mist
Rest of Clara: Shocking Pink ~ Sorbet ~ Wild Orchid ~ Pink Pearl ~ Pale Blossom ~ Blue Grey 2 ~ Blue Grey 4
~ Memento Ink Tuxedo Black
~ Tim Holtz Distress Ink Dusty Concord
~ White 8"x8" scalloped card blank
~ Spellbinders Nestabilities Fleur De Lis Rectangles
~ Joy Vintage Border Die
~ Creata Paper Pad
~ Organza Ribbon
~ Sizzix Medallions Die
~ 2 purple gem brads
~ 2 word grommets
~ Purple self adhesive pearls
~ Collal glue
~ Silicon Glue
~ Double sided tape
~ foam pads
 
To make the card...
 
~ Create the easel by scoring half way across the front panel of the card blank.
~ Stamp Clara with the Tuxedo black ink and colour.
~ Use the Fleur De Lis Rectangle to die cut Clara.
~ Matt onto pink spotty paper.
~ Ink the edges of pink spotty paper and matt using Collal glue onto the easel and the base of the card.
~ Trim purple paper to fit across the spotty panel on the easel, ink edges with Dusty Concord. Wrap a length of organza ribbon across the front, securing the ends with the double sided tape. Attach this to the spotty paper with the tape. Add a bow with the silicon glue.
~ Die cut the vintage border die using purple paper and glue to the card as shown.
~ Use foam pads to attach the Clara panel to the easel front.
~ Trim purple paper matt onto the pink spotty paper on the base, ink the edges first, then attach.
~ Die cut the medallions, add a brad through each grommet, secure into the medallion centres and attach to the card as shown.
~ To finish add the purple pearls as shown.
 
I love using CLARA she looks gorgeous in many colour ways!

~ Clothes and Butterflies: Dusky Rose ~ Antique Pink ~ Rose Pink ~ Pink Carnation ~ Cocktail Pink
Outline: Apricot
 
The papers are from Creata, the butterflies are die-cut using my Big Shot machine.
 
I love this image, butterflies are a favourite of mine so this was just perfect!

VISIBLE IMAGE - MY FRIDAY DESIGN TEAM POST

 another Friday is here again and into August too!
 
So that means it is time for me to share a creation with you all using the fantastic stamps from
 
 
The creation I am sharing with you today is one of my samples that I made for
 
 
and I have used the
 
   
 
 
Other materials needed to make this card...
 
~ Letraset Promarkers in shades: Skin- Almond ~ Putty ~ Sunkissed Pink ~ Coral
Eyes: Olive Green ~ Umber
Hair: Cool Grey 3 ~ Cool Grey 4 ~ Cool Grey 5
Clothes: Pear Green ~ Moss ~ Olive Green ~ Marsh Green ~ Lime Green ~ Meadow Green
Outline: Warm Grey 2
~ White bleed proof card
~ Memento Ink Tuxedo Black
~ Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Ink
~ Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Walnut Stain ~ Peeled Paint ~ Antique Linen
~ Blending Tools
~ Water Spritzer
~ 8"x8" white square card blank
~ WOW Embossing Glitter Black Russian
~ 2 Black Sparkle Brads
~ Gold Pigment Powder
~ Double sided tape
~ Silicon Glue
~ Heat Gun
~ Metal embellishment
 
How to make...
 
~ Stamp Edward onto the white bleed proof card, colour with your chosen medium. Fussy cut out.
~ Use your blending tool and the Peeled Paint ink to create an inked border on the card blank.
~ Trim a square of white card just slightly smaller than the card blank so you have a narrow border. Use the Walnut Stain ink and blending tool to create a border on this card as before. Matt onto the card blank with double sided tape.
~ Trim another square of white card slightly smaller than the previous one. Use the Peeled Paint and Antique Linen inks and your blending tool to create a background. Add some gold pigment powder to water and  spritz lightly use your heat gun to dry.
~ Stamp the branches from the set onto the spritzed background using your embossing ink. Sprinkle with the embossing powder and heat until melted.
~ Stamp the bats randomly with black ink as shown. Stamp one bat onto white card, fussy cut and use silicon glue to add to the background. Attach this panel to the card blank using double sided tape.
~ Create a background panel as before with the inks and spritzing with the pigment powder and water. Dry with your heat gun and stamp the 'immortal is forever'. Add a black sparkle brad at each side. Use silicon glue to attach as shown.
~ To finish use silicon glue to add Edward and the metal embellishment.
 
I love this set, it can be used for so many different projects!

Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog...My DT Post...

Hello lovelies...well I am so happy to announce that I am now on the design team for the fabulous

I was really happy to accept the offer as  I am a fan of Joanna Sheen and enjoy using the House Mouse designs and much more.

I love the image I have used as it's fun and perfect for a man, I also had some mini playing cards in my crafty stash so I knew these would be perfect to go with this image...
 
 
I have coloured the image using Letraset Promarkers in shades...
 
Putty ~ Almond ~ Pale Pink ~ Ice Grey 1 ~ Warm Grey 2 ~ Warm Grey 3 ~ Pastel Beige ~ Vanilla ~ Blush ~ Satin ~ Saffron ~ Ivory ~ Tan ~ Oatmeal ~ Sandstone ~ Caramel ~ Burnt Sienna ~ Umber ~ Honeycomb ~ Ginger ~ Apricot ~ Terracotta ~ Poppy ~ Olive Green ~ Marsh Green
 
I have used an 8" by 8" card blank and decorative papers that I have matted and layered. I thought raffia fitted the image perfectly.
 
This is just perfect for any man, it shows a fun get together.

VISIBLE IMAGE - MY FRIDAY DESIGN TEAM POST ...

Hello lovelies,
 
wow another Friday is here again!
 
So, you all know what that means...it is time for me to share another creation with you all using the fantastic stamps from
 
 
My creation I am sharing with you today is one of my samples that I made for
 
 
and I have used the
 
 
 
Other materials needed...
~ Tim Holtz Distress Inks Spiced Marmalade - Shabby Shutters - Scattered Straw
~ 8"x8" square white card blank
~ White A4 card
~ 4 gem brads
~ 4 pearl brads
~ Ink blending tool
~ Double sided tape
~ Orange Organza Ribbon
 
How to make...
 
~ Use the inks to stamp the chandeliers in a repeat pattern onto the A4 card. Stamp the text stamp as shown.  Trim to fit the card blank so it leaves a narrow border. Use the loop on the text stamp to stamp a border as shown.
~ Add the brads to each Chandelier hanger. Ink the edges and used double sided tape to attach it to the card blank.
~ Ink the edges of the card blank and wrap organza ribbon as shown and finish with a bow.
 
I love this stamp set, it could be used for any occasion.
