My DT card for Emergency Crafters......

Hello lovelies,

I hope you are looking forward to a lovely week-end. As it's Friday that can only mean one thing, another challenge over at

The theme this week is

'Dreamland'

We want to see fairies, unicorns, toadstools, whatever is your crafty dreamland. I have used an Angel for mine.

My 'Dreamland' hits a personal note for me today, as it would have been my Beautiful Dad's birthday! I feel like I have made my card for my Dad, and in my dream I see an Angel looking after him, the flowers represent the flowers my Dad used to tend to in his job as a gardener. I know he will be up there somewhere tending to Heaven's Garden!

The stamp is from Inkdinkado and it's Angels, I have used a Martha Stewart punch around the page too!

I could'nt let my Dad's day pass by without me saying...

'Happy Birthday my Beautiful Daddy, I miss you everyday and I am sure you will hear me somewhere up there'.

I would love to see your entries for this theme, as you can see, mine has come from the heart!

Have fun and happy crafting,
lots of love

My DT card for Emergency Crafter's Challenge.......

Hello lovelies,

Wow, the weeks are flying past and as another fortnight has whizzed by its time for another challenge over at the

and this weeks theme is

Bold and Bright

which is sponsored by

Letraset.

I wanted to keep my card fairly simple as I chose to use quite strong colours of orange and green. I wanted the focal point to be the flower in the centre.

I have used textured cardstock and used a border punch on the green card so the orange card shows through. I have used co-ordinating ribbons, self-adhesive dew drops, flowers and a sentiment from Kanban.

We would love to see your bold and bright colours for this challenge, I am looking forward to seeing your creations.

Glitter It....

Yes lots of glitter lol, so dig out that glitter it's time to get sparkly!

Here's what I made for my design team card this week....

I have used double sided tape along the borders and sprinkled with the silver glitter. I followed the design on the backing paper from the cd using a glue pen and added glitter. I cut out a butterfly from the cd, followed the pattern with a glue pen and added more glitter.
Let's just say, I had silver glitter everywhere lol.

I would love to see your creations for this theme, so dig out your pots of glitter you may have hiding and lets get glittery!

For my design team card I wanted to make a congratulations card with a crafty theme....to celebrate the launch of

Emergency Crafters.....

so here is what I made.....I hope you like it...

I have made this using the

I printed and cut out the elements I wanted to use.

I covered an 8x8 card blank with backing paper.
Attached the measuring tape as shown and punched holes down the side, I threaded co-ordinating ribbons through this and then tied a bow.
I cut a square of heart paper and punched two sides with a decorative border punch and stuck to the card with double sided tape.
I added the ribbons and ruffled them as shown.
I attached all the printed out elements with foam pads and used various buttons to embellish the card and show 999 with them too.
To finish I added three pins into the pin cushion as shown and added Liquid pearls in baby blue to the greeting and along the punched out border.

I would love you to hop over and see what the rest of the design team have made. We have some fabulous themes coming up and with fantastic sponsors too. So please follow us and join in, we would love to see you there.

Have fun and happy crafting......
