VISIBLE IMAGE - MY FRIDAY DESIGN TEAM POST....

Hello lovelies and here it is again...Friday!

I am very happy for this particular one though for two reason's. Firstly it mean's that I have the bank holiday week-end off...woo hoo a Saturday off! Secondly as it is Friday that mean's it is my turn to post a design team project for the fantastic VISIBLE IMAGE

This week I wanted to show you how you can use one of the VISIBLE IMAGE CHARACTER STAMPS to make a Sympathy card. Now, I know usually traditional Sympathy cards are very simple and maybe flowers such as lillies or roses. Today, I wanted to show you that you can make a beautiful Sympathy card just that little bit different!

The stamps I have used for my card are...

Here is my 'Sympathy Card'...

The other materials needed to make this are...

~ White Card
~ Memento Ink Tuxedo Black
~ White decorative 8x8 card blank
~ Letraset Promarkers in shades: Skin - Putty ~ Almond ~ Sunkissed Pink
Hair -  Cool Grey 5 ~ Cool Grey 4 ~ Ice Grey 3 ~ Ice Grey 2
Dress - Ice Grey 1 ~ Ice Grey 2 ~ Ice Grey 3 ~ Ice Grey 4 ~ Ice Grey 5
Cloak - Slate ~ Amethyst ~ Aubergine
Eyes - Ice Grey 3
Outline - Cool Grey 1
Heart - Burgundy ~ Cardinal Red
~ Tim Holtz Distress Ink Dusty Concord
~ Grey Sheer Ribbon
~ Grey Spiders Web
~ Two tone flowers x 3
~ Docrafts X-Cut Nesting Dies - Doorplate
~ Pinflair glue
~ Double Sided Tape
~ Make-up sponge
~ Promarker fine nibs
~ Corner Chomper

How to make...

~ Stamp ISABELLA  onto the card using the Tuxedo Black ink.
~ Colour her in with the Promarkers.
~ Use the largest die from the set and die-cut the coloured image.
~ Using the Dusty Concord Distress Ink and the small rose from the IMMORTAL LOVE SET  stamp a border around the edges of the card blank and the stamped image as shown. You will only use the edges of the rose for the image so it is a small border as shown.
~ Ink around the edges with the make-up sponge.
~ Stick a strip of double sided tape in the centre of the card and attach a panel of spiders web over this.
~ Use double sided tape to secure a length of ribbon across the middle of the card.
~ Create a bow and glue with the silicon glue.
~ Add the image to the right of the card using the silicon glue so it is raised slightly.
~ Glue the roses to the edge as shown.
~ Stamp the 'With Sympathy' from the MORE THAN WORDS SET  using the Tuxedo Black ink. Trim and round the corners with the chomper. Stamp a rose border as before and attach to the card as shown with silicon glue.

I love the ISABELLA  character. She looks so haunting and thoughtful. That's why I wanted to show you how nice she can look on a Sympathy Card. You can also use her for many different occasions and projects. I've used her on Birthday and Thank You cards too. You could also pair her up with EDWARD  too for the perfect match!
